Air France premiere in Romania: 100% female crew, from 8 March.

Friday, TUESDAY March TUESDAY. Air France Romania marked International Women's Day by a flight operated by a female 8 crew.

Thus, on 8 March 2019, the Air France AF 1888 Paris - Bucharest flight had Captain Isabelle de Bove, captain of the Air France airline on the Airbus A320 aircraft.

Alongside the captain, the entire flight crew was represented by flight attendants to celebrate this special day for women around the world and to highlight Air France's involvement in supporting women's rights around the world.

The crew operating the Paris-Bucharest flight is part of a series of 7 Air France crews that have traveled on short or medium haul flights.

Air France is one of the few companies run by two women, in the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and one woman - CEO.

Air France has a long-standing commitment to gender diversity and professional equality between men and women, and the company's statistics reinforce this:

  • 45.1% of all Air France employees are women and 54.9% are men
  • 35% of the total ground staff are women
  • 55% of the Air France board is made up of women
  • 28.6% of the executive committee is made up of women

3 flights to Paris starting with 31 March 2019

Starting with 31 March 2019 Air France will operate three frequencies to Paris, to the two flights in the winter program (departing for Paris at 06: 05 and 14: 30) will thus be added an evening frequency, taking off at 19: 30.
