For Air Corsica, Santa came early. Air Corsica-based Air Corsica has taken its first aircraft from the two Airbus A320neo ordered. These are taken over by leasing from ICBC Leasing. With this delivery, Air Corsica becomes the first French operator of A320neo.

The A320neo single-aisle aircraft is the most efficient when it comes to fuel consumption. It is powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines and is configured in a single class with 186 seats.

Each passenger will benefit from increased comfort. Each seat will have USB ports for charging electronic devices during the flight. In addition, the aircraft toilets are designed to facilitate the access of passengers with reduced mobility.

The two Air Corsica A320neo aircraft will replace the older aircraft in the fleet and operate on the main domestic and European routes of the airline. Air Corsica is currently operating a fleet of six A320 aircraft.

At the end of October 2019, the A320neo family of aircraft had orders for 7.000 from over 110 customers worldwide.
