Last week, on 6 May 2019, the first Airbus A321LR Air Transat (C-GOIE) was delivered. The aircraft is part of one order from 15 A321LR aircraft. Air Transat will take over the planes from AerCap.

The A321LR model, configured with Airbus Cabin Flex, allows the installation of additional reservations. This results in increased range up to 4000 of nautical miles, the equivalent of 7400 of kilometers.

Air Transat intends to use Airbus A321LR aircraft on long-haul flights from Canada to destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

The new A321LR Air Transat aircraft will replace older units, especially those of the A310-300 type.

Airbus A321LR Air Transat is equipped with 199 seats, distributed in 2 classes. There are 12 seats at Premium Club Class with personalized services and ergonomic chairs and 187 seats at Economy Class.
