On 11 May 2016, Air Serbia has taken another important step in its evolution. Received the first widebody aircraft of the type Airbus A330-200. After 24 for years, Air Serbia will reconnect Serbia from the United States with direct flights between Belgrade and New York, a route that will be launched on 23 June 2016.

Yesterday afternoon (11 to 2016), Airbus A330-200 Air Serbia aircraft landed at Nikola Tesla - Belgrade Airport. It was greeted with the traditional greeting of water cannons and a delegation of local authorities and representatives of the airline.

During today, 12 May 2016, Airbus A330-200 Air Serbia (YU-ARA) will be officially registered in Serbia. Before the official flights, the aircraft will arrive in Abu Dhabi to receive the interior, then operate the flights to familiarize the crew. Airbus A330-200 Air Serbia will offer 18 seats in Business Class and 236 seats in Economy Class.
