On 13 May 2013, the first Airbus A350 XWB (MSN001) came out of the paint shop in Toulouse. The dyeing process took less than seven days and follows the final tests before the first flight.

In April, the first Airbus A350 XWB received engines and passed the ground vibration test. The inaugural flight is scheduled for summer this year, and from 2014 will officially enter the commercial operational program. The launch customer for A350 is Qatar Airways, the airline that has placed the highest order so far, 80 aircraft (43 A350-900 and 37 A350-1000).

Until February 2013, Airbus received orders for 617 A350 XWB aircraft from 35 from airline operators. We can mention here Air Lease (25 aircraft), Emirates (70 aircraft), TAM Airlines (27 aircraft), TAP Portugal (12 aircraft), Singapore Airlines (40 aircraft) etc.
