The first Airbus A350 XWB Ethiopian Airlines takes shape

First Airbus A350-900 for Ethiopian Airlines takes shape at the final assembly line in Toulouse, France. The aircraft will be delivered to 2016, Ethiopian Airlines becoming the first African company to operate this type of aircraft. Ethiopian Airlines orders 14 Airbus A350-900 units, of which 2 leases from AerCap (including the first aircraft in the process of assembly) and 12 by direct order from Airbus.

The first one Airbus A350 XWB Ethiopian Airlines, its assembly began. The main sections were joined together, including the vertical stabilizer mounted. The assembly operations go in parallel with the installation of the cab and the electrical parts. After complete assembly, the aircraft will be painted, the engines will be mounted and the ground and air tests will begin. Then comes the delivery.

Ethiopian Airlines will use Airbus A350 XWB aircraft on routes between Ethiopia and destinations in Asia and America.
