On 26 September, Etihad Airways launched the new livery and introduced the first Airbus A380 during a ceremony at the Airbus base in Hamburg, Germany.
The aircraft will go through the final stage of cabin equipment, then the ground and flight tests. The first Airbus A380 Etihad Airways will be delivered by the end of this year. The Abu Dhabi-based Arab operator is firmly in command for the 10 A380 and will become the 13 super jumbo operator.
Airbus received orders for 318 A380 aircraft from 19 customers. To date, over 65 millions of passengers have enjoyed the unique experience offered by Airbus A380.
