The first Airbus A380 Hi Fly will be delivered by the middle of this year

In February, I told you about Hi Fly carrier intends to increase its fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft. Today also came the confirmation from the airline.

The first Airbus A380 Hi Fly will be delivered later this year. It will be a major event for the Portuguese company, which specializes in Widebody Aircraft Wet Lease. It will be the first Portuguese company and the fourth European company with A380 in the fleet.

The 2 complete axle aircraft will be powered by one of the world's most reliable Rolls Royce Trent 900 engines. It will be able to carry 471 passengers in a three-class configuration.

The main deck is reserved exclusively for Economy class, which can accommodate up to 399 passengers. The upper deck accommodates 12 First Class passengers and 60 Business Class passengers. Initially, rumors announced a configuration with 2 classes.

Each seat will have its own entertainment system, the Panasonic CX2 brand. Airbus A380 Hi Fly will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and luxurious interior.

One of the A380 Hi Fly aircraft will be leased to an air carrier (currently anonymous), who wants to use it 1 yearly. The second will operate seasonal flights for another airline, because the charter season is coming.

Hi Fly is EASA and IOSA certified and FAA approved. It has a fleet of 15 widebody aircraft, including Airbus A340-300, A340-500 and A330-200. And to order it has 10 Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.

In the autumn of last year, when the TAP Air Portugal crisis came, an Airbus A340-300 Hi Fly brought to Bucharest passengers on canceled flights.
