On 22 May 2015, Transaero received the first Boeing 737-800 NG and presented the new color scheme.
At the same time, this is the first aircraft in the Russian operator's fleet equipped with a satellite antenna in the KU band, which will allow passengers to connect to the high-speed internet.
This is the first Boeing 737 aircraft to come equipped with this factory-installed system. It is easier to install such a system on the final assembly line and thus the airline operators no longer have to lock the aircraft to the ground.

Founded in 1991, Transaero is Russia's first private airline. At the same time, it was the first Russian airline to introduce a Boeing aircraft into its fleet, starting with 1993.
