Lion Air Group was the launch customer for 737 MAX 9. At the same time, it was the first operation that introduced 737 MAX 8 into commercial service and announced a commitment to 50 of MAX 10 aircraft.

Also, the Lion Air Group still has 200 x 737 MAXs on order and is one of the world's largest Boeing 737 aircraft operators.

The 737 MAX 9 is designed for up to 220 passengers and has a range of up to 6570 kilometers. With three additional rows of seats compared to the 737 MAX 8, this model gives operators added capacity, maximizing network profitability.

The 737 MAX incorporates the latest international CFM engines LEAP-1B, Advanced Technology winglets, Boeing Sky Interior. Collected orders for 4300 aircraft from 95 customers.
