On 8 November, the first Boeing 787-9 Air France operated the first flight. The aircraft is on the last hundred meters for delivery. Air France will receive the first Dreamliner from the fleet on 2 in December, when the plane will land at Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris.

It will be a historic moment for the French carrier, but also for the American aircraft manufacturer. Boeing 787-9 F-HRBA will be the first for Air France and the 500 built by Boeing.

The aircraft will start on the Paris - Cairo route, the first flight being scheduled for 9 January 2017. The AF570 flight will take off at 14: 30 from Paris and will land in Cairo around 20: 00. Return flight AF571 is scheduled for the next day. At 01: 35 will take off from Cairo and land in Paris around 05: 30.

At the same time, according to the reservation service, Air France will fly with Boeing 787-9 and on the route Paris - London Heathrow. Will operate one flight a day, 6 days a week, without Wednesdays. The flight schedule will be:

AF1680 CDG 07:25 - 07:45 LHR
AF1681 LHR 09:40 - 11:55 CDG

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Air France aircraft are configured in 3 classes and will offer 30 seats in Business Class, 21 seats in Premium Economy and 221 seats in Economy Class.
