First Bombardier CS100 SWISS in commercial service
On 15 July 2016, the first Bomber CS100 SWISS entered the commercial service. Following an inauguration ceremony, CS100 SWISS took off in flight LX638, which connects Zurich to the capital of France.

The new aircraft model, also called "Whisperjet" for reduced emissions, it has opened a new stage for the Swiss air carrier. The new Bombardier CS100 aircraft will gradually replace the old British Aerospace Avro 146-RJ100 models, until July 2017.
SWISS commissioned 30 aircraft from the Bombardier CS family: 15 x CS100 and 15 x CS300. In time, SWISS will refresh its fleet for short and medium flights, replacing other aircraft models.
Paris, Manchester, Prague and Budapest are the first destinations honored with Bombardier CS100 aircraft. From August, the destinations of Warsaw and Brussels will be joined. Nice, Stuttgart, Hannover, Milan, Florence and Bucureşti, since September.
We remind you that one Bombardier CS100 operated a test flight in Bucharest. Officially, CS100 SWISS will come on 11 September in Bucharest.
