Take the first Airbus A380 Qatar Airways

On 25 April 2013, we announced that Assembly of the first A380 Qatar Airways begins. Here after 1.5 months I come and announce that the aircraft has taken shape. Qatar Airways has released the first photo with the first A380 aircraft partially painted in the company's colors.

The traditional Oryx logo can be seen on the imposing tail of 24 meters high of the super-jumbo. Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, said the Oryx logo is a symbol of Qatar, and its display on the largest commercial passenger plane should be a source of pride for the country and the people.

First Airbus A380-800 Qatar Airways is assembled in Toulouse and scheduled to be delivered early 2014. The carrier in Qatar has firm order for 10 + 3 units and is looking forward to their delivery. The aircraft will be used on popular routes, especially to airports with limited slots.

Qatar Airways is one of the few airlines that has grown greatly over the last 15 years. Currently, the company operates 124 from airplanes to 128 from destinations from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and America. This year, Qatar Airways has launched 6 new destinations: Gassim (Saudi Arabia), Najaf (Iraq), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Chicago (USA), Salalah (Oman) and Basra (Iraq).

Over the next few weeks and months, the network will grow with new destinations: Sulaymaniyah, Iraq (20 August), Chengdu, China (03 September), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (18 September), Clark International Airport, Philippines (28 October) and Philadelphia , United States of America (02 April 2014).
