The Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off this weekend, and airlines are showing their national pride with special designs. Below you have the planes specially painted for this football event.


Aerolíneas Argentinas, of course, put Lionel Messi front and center on the tail of its A330 with its special World Cup design.


Asiana Airlines has added a special Fly Korea model on two aircraft, an A350 and an A321.


Brussels Airlines has unveiled a refreshed image and supports Belgium's national football teams. Brussels Airlines' A320 proudly wears a Red Devil Belgium livery.


Flydubai has partnered with Argentina's National Football Association, presenting the team leaders on a 737-8 MAX.


GOL has a long tradition of livery specifically for the Brazilian national team. This year's special design is applied to a 737-800 and features the jerseys of five Brazilian players.


Lufthansa, the most famous airline when it comes to special World Cup color schemes, applied a Fanhansa Diversity Wins livery to an A330 this year.

Tunisair has applied a representative color scheme on an Airbus A320neo, being the official carrier of the Carthage Eagles, the national team of Tunisia.
