Qatar Airways resumes flights to Atlanta and increases the frequency of flights to other destinations in the United States.
Qatar Airways will resume four weekly flights to Atlanta from June 1. The carrier will also increase the frequency of flights to Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Miami, San Francisco and Seattle, adding another 13 flights a week. In total, during the summer season, Qatar Airways will operate 83 weekly flights from Doha to the 12 destinations in America.
As the largest airline to continue to operate throughout the pandemic, Qatar Airways has analyzed global passenger flows and booking trends to begin rebuilding the global network, consolidating its leading position in the Middle East.
Qatar Airways intends to resume services and increase frequencies to more destinations.
- Atlanta - four flights a week, starting June 1
- Chicago - will increase the frequency to 10 flights per week, starting with March 4
- dallas fort worth - will increase the frequency to 10 flights per week, starting with March 2
- Houston - there will be daily flights, from March 14
- Miami - will increase the frequency to 3 weekly flights, starting with July 3
- San Francisco - there will be daily flights, from July 2
- Seattle - there will be four weekly flights, starting with January 29, and subsequently there will be daily flights, from July 1
Seattle is the seventh new destination and the second in the US to be added to the network Qatar Airways since the beginning of the pandemic. The launch of flights to Seattle and the resumption of flights to Atlanta will increase Qatar Airways' US network to 12 US destinations. Qatar Airways passengers can thus connect to hundreds of American cities through partner airlines Alaska Airlines, American Airlines and JetBlue.
Atlanta and Seattle join existing US destinations: Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington, DC (IAD).
Qatar Airways plans to reach 130 destinations served.
Qatar's national carrier continues to rebuild the global network, which is currently at more than 120 destinations, with plans to increase to more than 130 by the end of March 2021.
