Qatar Airways to introduce Boeing 787 Dreamliner on Doha - London Heathrow (video)

Qatar Airways, Qatar's main air carrier and headquartered in Doha, has ordered 30 aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner and with the possibility of extending its order with another 30. The first aircraft was exposed the previous days Farnborough International Airshow 2012.

The exact date of delivery of the first aircraft is not yet known, but Qatar Airways hopes to be by early September. This would allow him to operate route Doha - London Heathrow with Boeing 787 Dreamliner right from the end of September.

Qatar Airways currently operates 5 daily flights to London Heathrow, based in Doha. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner would enter the Doha-London Heathrow flight at 6:30 a.m. and return in the evening. This would ensure very good connections with Asia and Australia.

Qatar would also consider being the first airline to operate flights with 787 Dreamliner to London Heathrow. It would have only one direct competitor, the Air India operator, who is preparing, in turn, to take possession of the first 787.

There would be ANA and JAL airlines, owners and users of Boeing 787 Dreamliner, but so far they have not announced that they will operate flights to Heathrow with this type of aircraft.
