At the end of the first 9 months of the year 2013, the company TAROM announces improvements of its financial-accounting results of 35 millions of lei, compared to the same period of last year.
The improvement of the results is mainly reflected by maintaining an adequate cash balance and by the lack of outstanding debts to the state budget or any other partners.

In the period January-September 2013 the company TAROM registered an improvement with 35 million lei (30%) of the financial result compared to the same period of the year 2012 and with 12 million lei (13%) towards the proposals in the Management Plan, respectively a loss of 83 million lei, compared to 118 million lei during the same period of year 2012.
The results of the first 9 months from 2013 represent the continuation of the positive trend recorded in the first half of the 2013 year.
During this period, TAROM operated 12 532 for regular flights, with 188 less than in the same period last year, yet carrying with 2,6% more passengers compared to the corresponding period of the previous year due to a policy of improving the route network.
Improving the company's results are a consequence of careful monitoring of costs and an adequate commercial policy.
