ROMATSA updated the NOTAM regarding the suspended flights. There are no direct suspended flights from Romania!

Today, 27 October 2020, ROMATSA updated the NOTAM regarding the suspended flights. It was updated in accordance with the new Decision no. 50, which approves list of countries / areas with high epidemiological risk.

According to him, flights to: Andorra, Argentina, Armenia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Costa Rica, French Polynesia, Gibraltar, Guam, Montenegro, Puerto Rico remain suspended. But as far as we know, Romania has not had and does not have direct flights with these countries.

In conclusion, Romania no longer has suspended flights to the main European countries, from the Middle East and to other regions where it can fly non-stop! If we follow this NOTAM, the airlines could resume flights, including to Moldova and Israel. It's just that it's all about the airlines and the restrictions in the destination countries.

The NOTAM enters into force today, October 27, 2020, at 11:45. It expires on November 13, at 23:59 p.m. That is, if there are no other restrictions until that date.
