Alitalia continues to expand its network of honored destinations and announces route Rome - Mexico City, starting with 16 June 2016. 3 weekly flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays after the following schedule:

AZ677 Mexico-Benito Juarez (MEX) 2330 - 1835 + 1 ROME FIUMICINO (FCO)

Alitalia will operate flights between ROMA FIUMICINO (FCO) and Mexico-Benito Juarez (MEX) with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, which are configured in 3 classes: 30 seats in business class, 24 seats in premium economy class and 239 seats in economy class. This will be the second destination in Latin America, after Santiago (Chile), to which it will fly starting this year.

The opening of new routes and the focus of the hub from Rome on long-haul routes are part of the new Alitalia strategy.
