As of April 1, 2020, Royal Air Maroc has joined the Oneworld airline. It is the 14th Oneworld member, after American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LATAM Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, S7 Airlines and SriLankan Airlines (plus Fiji Airways as Connect partner and 30 other associate members).

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has overshadowed Royal Air Maroc's official accession to one of the world's largest alliances. But we can't overlook it, especially since the Moroccan carrier is the first Oneworld member in Africa. And, it is the first company to have fully acceded to Oneworld, after 2014.

Royal Air Maroc has joined Oneworld

Royal Air Maroc adds 39 new destinations from 23 countries to the Oneworld network. Thus, there will be more flights and options that passengers of Oneworld member airlines can benefit from.

Royal Air Maroc connects its base in Casablanca to a network of 100 destinations in 50 countries on six continents. Including at the main sites in Amman, Doha, London-Heathrow, Madrid, Miami, Moscow-Domodedovo and New York-JFK.

Also, from April 1, Oneworld passengers can enjoy a full range of benefits and services of the alliance when choosing to travel with Royal Air Maroc. And the over one million members of the Safar Flyer Royal Air Morocco loyalty program can earn miles when they choose to fly with any of the Oneworld member airlines.

Flights operated by Royal Air Maroc are available at Oneworld Explorer and Global Explorer fares. We remind you that Royal Air Maroc has flights in partnership with American Airlines, Iberia, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian and S7 Airlines. And other partnerships are expected in the next period.
