Ryanair has carried over 1 billion passengers

In 32 years, Ryanair carried over 1 billion passengers, being the first airline in Europe to reach this threshold. It all started with the first take-off from Waterford to London Gatwick in July 1985.

At the same time, according to new statistics presented by the largest European low-cost carrier, passenger traffic increased by 11% in July 2017 compared to the same period last year, reaching 12.6 million.

If we talk about the annual traffic until July 2017, it increased by 13%, reaching up to 125.1 millions of customers. The degree of loading of aircraft from 96% to 97% also increased.
