RYANAIR FR1901 flight from Dublin to Krakow was diverted to Berlin after a bomb threat
On the evening of May 30, a Boeing 737-800 (EI-EMO registered) company RYANAIR, which operated flight FR1901 between Dublin and Krakow, was diverted to Berlin following a bomb threat. There were 160 passengers on board.
While flying over Germany, the air traffic controller informed the crew of a potential security threat on board. The captain followed the procedures and went to the nearest airport, which is Berlin.
" The aircraft landed safely and passengers were disembarked to facilitate extensive security checks on passengers and all baggage.", RYANAIR wrote in a communiqué. After checks by German authorities, the passengers were able to travel to their final destination, Krakow, aboard a RYANAIR reserve aircraft. The flight was about 7 hours late.
