Ryanair has launched the Covid-19 Travel digital wallet for document storage
Ryanair today launched a digital wallet, Covid-19 Travel, which is only available in the Ryanair application. Customers can upload negative PCR tests, Covid vaccination certificates and other Covid documents that may be required to travel to the EU this summer.
The launch of vaccines against Covid-19 will bring back travel and vacations in the summer of 2021, and the application launched by Ryanair will make travel easier for customers.
Ryanair estimates that the launch of vaccines in the European Union will remove the current EU travel restrictions in time for the holidays. Ryanair customers will be able to benefit from the application that will host all travel documents in one place, facilitating the boarding procedure on the day of the trip.
As it is not known whether or not EU member states will hold one vaccination passport, the airline is aware that some EU countries may require additional travel documents, and the Ryanair app will help passengers save all travel documents in one place.
This C-19 travel wallet allows customers to store all travel documents.
Dara Brady, the marketing director of Ryanair, said that "We are excited to launch this Ryanair C-19 travel wallet as we prepare for the holiday season of the 2021 summer season. This C-19 travel wallet allows customers to store all travel documents, such as test results PCR, passenger location forms and vaccine certificates and other travel documents. "
"Tickets for the summer season are already on sale, subject to changes in government travel restrictions, and we believe that once the population at high risk of infection is vaccinated, travel restrictions will be relaxed and travel will be resumed at the request of customers, for summer holidays on the beaches of Spain, Italy, Portugal or Greece.
