RYANAIR in Romania and plans for the 2017 summer season

The 2017 summer schedule and the operational network from the 2 Romanian bases were announced. In the near future, RYANAIR will inaugurate new routes departing from Bucharest. On 2 September, it will open Bucharest - Berlin, on 9 November will inaugurate Bucharest - Bristol, and from 28 March 2017 will fly on the route Bucharest - Palermo, Sicily.
The Bucharest - Timisoara route was inaugurated today. Between September 1 and October 31, 2016, a daily flight will be operated. As of November 1, 2016, RYANAIR will operate two daily flights.
Also from the summer season 2017, RYANAIR will increase the frequency of flights on the routes Brussels, Dublin and Milan. RYANAIR hopes to carry 1.9 million passengers between March 26, 2016 and March 25, 2017. The operational base in Bucharest will be officially inaugurated at the end of October 2016. An estimated 1400 jobs in related services are also expected. According to ACI (Airports Council International), 750 associated jobs are generated per 1 million passengers carried.
