At the beginning of 2016, Ryanair has the most dynamic evolution. In 1.5 on Monday, it has already announced new bases in Germany and its own expanded the activity in Italy and from other countries.

On 16 February, at 14: 00, Michael O'Leary, Ryanair's Chief Executive Officer, will be present at the press conference in Bucharest. Considering O'Leary's coming, that means Ryanair ads will be very important.

Ryanair, Michael O'Leary,

Since 2015, we have started to monitor Ryanair activity in the Balkans and in Romania. It was announced the first Ryanair base in Romania - in Timisoara, and now the base in Bucharest is to be announced. According to the new winter schedule 2016 / 2017, Ryanair has modified the schedule of routes already operated from / to Bucharest.

Flights on routes Bucharest - Milan, Bucharest - Madrid, Bucharest - Brussels and Bucharest - Timisoara (evening ones) will be operated by planes from Bucharest. If we follow the operating mode, we can anticipate that Ryanair will bring 2 planes to Bucharest, but we rely on 3 aircraft and new external routes. With the domestic routes we still have a dose of skepticism, but we will see on 16 February all the details.

Besides the new base and routes, we are waiting for the site in Romanian language which I have been preparing for some time. Considering that they are starting to open domestic routes in Romania, they should automatically comply with the local tax law.

A few days ago, I said that Ryanair is conquering eastern Europe. In addition to the Romanian bases, Ryanair will also announce the Sofia base.
