On December 3, 2020, Ryanair, the largest low-cost carrier in Europe, opened its base at Paris-Beauvais Airport (BVA). This is the 4th base in France, after those opened in Toulouse (TLS), Bordeaux (BOD) and Marseille (MRS).

Ryanair has allocated 2 aircraft to the Paris base, which means an investment of 200 million dollars. From the new base, RYANAIR will operate 105 weekly flights on 28 routes, which will connect Paris-Beauvais to 32 destinations in 13 European countries.

They also want flights to holiday destinations: Alicante, Bari, Faro and Thessaloniki. But also to business and university centers, such as: Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Madrid and Barcelona.

The airline did not specify what type of aircraft are assigned to the Paris base. They can be the traditional Boeing 737-800 or Airbus A320 aircraft from the Laudamotion fleet. From our information, RYANAIR has allocated 2 737-800 aircraft, one of which has the code 9H-QBE.

The new base in Paris also marks an important moment in the history of the airline RYANAIR, being the first to open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
