Saudi Arabia is negotiating for 70 Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudi Arabia) is in talks to acquire about 70 additional Airbus A321neo, Boeing 787 and Boeing 777 aircraft, according to local media Maaal, citing anonymous sources.

Saudia intends to consolidate its fleet with 70 new aircraft, in addition to the 144 it already has in operational service. The exact order is unknown, but includes Airbus A321, Boeing 787 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

The debt collection plan for an order for about 70 new planes has been confirmed for Reuters from inside sources. According to Maaal, the order could be valued at about $ 3 billion. Neither Saudia, Airbus or Boeing commented on potential negotiations.

Saudia has in its fleet 46 x Airbus A320 and 15 x Airbus A321 and 32 x Airbus A330, 13 x Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, 5 x Boeing 787-10 and 35 x 777-300ER.
