Saudia landed in Canada, Riyadh-Toronto via Jeddah

On 28 October 2013, Saudia (formerly Saudi Arabian Airlines) inaugurated the first connecting route to Canada Riyadh de Toronto via Jeddah. The route is operated with 3 weekly flights, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, following the following schedule:

SV060 RUH 01: 00 - 02: 45 JED 04: 15 - 09: 45 YYZ
SV061 YYZ 12: 45 - 08: 40 + 1 JED 09: 40 + 1 - 11: 15 + 1 RUH

Saudia's first Toronto-B

Saudia honors flights with type aircraft Boeing 777-200ER configured in three classes: 24 of First Class seats, 38 of Business Class seats and 170 of Guest Class seats. Saudia has no competition on this route. From the Middle East area, Emirates from Dubai and Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi (in codeshare with Air Canada) fly to Toronto.

Khalid Abdullah Almolhem, general manager Saudia, said that opening this route is part of the airline's development strategy. What's more, from the spring of 2014, Saudia will operate flights to Los Angeles, the third destination in the United States after New York and Washington.
