Scoot, the low-cost company that will start operations in June 2012, will offer iPads for use on board its aircraft. At ScootBiz - Business Class the tablets will be offered free of charge. Economy Class passengers can request iPads for $ 22 per flight.

Initially, iPads will be loaded with movies, games, music, TV shows. In the future, Scoot plans to equip the aircraft with Wi-Fi, a system similar to the one tested by Qantas. Thus, passengers will be able to connect their gadgets to the Wi-Fi network available on board the aircraft.

For business class, wi-fi will be free. Those in business class will pay a tax per hour or flight. I also told you about Scoot in other posts. Last days we announced that they had presented the first Boeing 777 aircraft in the livery Scoot!
