From 23 October 2020 at 24:00, persons traveling to Malta from Andorra, Australia, Canada, China, the Republic of Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Jordan, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Poland (except Gdansk and Krakow), Portugal (except Porto), United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (except Belfast, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle)Romania, Rwanda, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain (except Madrid, Barcelona and Girona), Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Vatican no longer need negative COVID-19 test.

Passengers traveling from the above destinations will not be subject to the quarantine measure, except in cases of suspected COVID-19, in which case a test is required.

Persons who have spent at least 2 weeks in one of the above countries before arriving in Malta may enter the national territory without restriction. They must NOT submit a PCR molecular test for COVID-19 and will NOT be quarantined.

Unfortunately, Romania put Malta on the yellow list and requires 14 days of self-isolation. But flights are NO longer suspended between Romania and Malta. According to the Wizz Air operational program, the Bucharest - Malta flights will be resumed only on December 15.
