Shenzhen Airlines has joined the Star Alliance

Shenzhen Airlines has joined the Star Alliance network and comes with new destinations to China. The accession of the new Chinese carrier is part of the Star Alliance strategy to expand its activity to emerging and growing countries, especially to China, providing passengers with new travel opportunities.

As a member of the Star Alliance, Shenzhen Airlines offers its customers access to a global network of 27 of air carriers that have together over 21900 of daily flights to 1329 destinations, from 194 countries. Shenzhen Airlines has added 400 daily flights to 70 for new destinations, including five new destinations in China: Juzhou (Zhejiang Province), Linyi, Qinhuangdao, Shijiazhuang and Zhoushan.

Shenzhen Airlines is the second Chinese airline in Star Alliance, after Air China joined 2007.
