Singapore Airlines is organizing a competition for A380 lovers

Singapore Airlines launched a contest marking the reception of the 19 Airbus A380 aircraft (9V-SKT). The event will take place on 6 September 2012. The biggest prize consists of 2 tickets for the delivery flight from Toulous to Singapore.

In addition to the tickets, the two lucky people will benefit from two nights of accommodation in Toulous, will visit the city for several hours, will visit the Airbus factory and the A380 aircraft before boarding. The winners will be transported free of charge from any destination operated by Singapore to Toulous. Being a delivery flight, the moment will be special. On board the aircraft there will be a select group of government officials and company members, plus special guests.

The prize will be given to a single person by lottery. To participate in this competition, you must register on the SIAJourneys.com website. The contest will end on 28 August 2012.

Singapore Airlines operated the first flight with an Airbus A380, to Sydney, at 25 October 2007. Currently, the airline operates 18 aircraft to 10 destinations: Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York (JFK), London (Heathrow), Paris (CDG), Zurich and Frankfurt.

In other news, Singapore Airlines will inaugurate the Singapore-Munich-Manchester route on 28 October 2012 and use a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
