As of June 7, 2021, all passengers traveling from Romania to Spain by air must present at the entrance to Spain one of the following documents:

➡️ a certificate attesting to complete vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to travel;

➡️ a negative PCR test or a negative antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 virus infection;

➡️ a post-Covid recovery certificate (this can be a document issued by a medical service 11 days after detection of Covid infection. This certificate is valid for 180 days).

Children under 6 years of age are exempted from the obligation to present these supporting documents.

Spain requests the completion of the health form

Also, all persons traveling to Spain, by air or sea, must complete, before making the trip, a health status form through the Spain Travel Health (SpTH) application or the website www.spth.gob.es.

If the passenger is a minor or a dependent, the form can be completed by the guardian, who will be responsible for the veracity of the information provided. After completing the form, a unique QR health code will be generated, which will have to be presented (digitally or on paper) at the health check performed at the airport / port of destination.

If the form is signed from the application, it will appear in the "My trip" section, and the user will also receive a printable email. Given the new conditions, the form will include an additional section on the PCR / TMA test result for SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Spain is the green area for Romania

The travel conditions to Romania remain those announced on 27.05.2021 by the National Committee for Emergency Situations, Spain passing on the green list / list of countries with low epidemiological risk. Thus, you do NOT need a test to travel from Spain to Romania.

For the transit of France by land, both to Spain and to Romania, it is mandatory to present a PCR test performed in the last 72 hours.
