Still 25 of Boeing 737 MAX 200 aircraft in the RYANAIR account

On April 24 2018, RYANAIR announced its intention to order another 25 Boeing 737 MAX 200 "Gamechanger" aircraft. Thus, the total order amounts to 135 of 737 MAX family aircraft.

RYANAIR is making plans for the far future. On April 24, it expressed its intention to buy another 25 of Boeing 737 MAX 200 aircraft (more specifically 737 MAX 8 configured for 200 passengers). This order is valued at 3 billion dollars.

Thus, the total order reached 135 of planes from the 737 MAX family. According to the delivery plan, the first MAX would be received in 2019. By receiving new aircraft, RYANAIR could reach up to 200 million passengers / year to 2024.

The collaboration between Boeing and Ryanair debuted in 1994. Since then, the Irish low-cost carrier has ordered over 650 aircraft.

Currently, RYANAIR operates an All-Boeing fleet, consisting of over 450 aircraft, and the average age is 6.5 years.

The new MAX "Gamechanger" aircraft will reduce fuel consumption by up to 16% and reduce noise emissions by 40%. At the same time, they are 4% more spacious, being configured to carry up to 197 passengers.
