Strike in Germany - Lufthansa canceled about 600 flights
Today, 27 March 2014, the ground personnel strike at major German airports, including Frankfurt and Munich, forced Lufthansa airline to cancel approximately 600 for domestic, European and even long-haul flights. In the first phase, the strike is scheduled until 14.00, local time. Also affected are the airports Cologne-Bonn, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Hannover and Stuttgart.
Some long-haul routes have been affected, such as: Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Accra, Dubai and Delhi.
Other airlines affected by the strike: TUIfly and Condor, as well as Air Berlin, the second largest airline in Germany.
Flights to Romania were also affected, at present the flights were canceled

Lufthansa to Munich (DLH1657), which was to take off at 06: 45; Lufthansa to Frankfurt (DLH1423), which was to take off at 06: 50; TAROM to Frankfurt (ROT301), which was to take off at 08: 35.
Bucharest - Arrivals:
Lufthansa from Munich (DLH1650), which was to arrive at 11: 55; Lufthansa from Frankfurt (DLH1418), due to arrive at 13: 20, TAROM from Frankfurt (ROT302), which was to arrive at 14: 40.
