Tonight, INSP Romania has published the yellow list of countries with high epidemiological risk, according to Decision no. 36 of 21.07.2020 of the National Committee for Emergency Situations. This means that all those who will travel from these countries to Romania, will be quarantined for 14 days. The quarantine of persons shall be established at the person's home, at a location declared by him or her, as the case may be, in a special space designated by the authorities.

Sweden and Portugal go green

According to this list, Sweden and Portugal go green and, from 27 July, direct flights from / to Romania can be resumed. Those traveling from Sweden and Portugal will not be quarantined in Romania.

What about Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates? That is a more delicate question. Normally, all those who will travel from these countries to Romania will not be quarantined. But will the flights resume?

In theory, almost everything that is not on the yellow list means that it is an exception to quarantine / isolation and flights should be resumed. Of course, according to European standards.

But we are also waiting with maximum interest for the NOTAT from ROMATSA. By 00:00, July 27, we should know clearly what will happen to the flights.
