The plane had departed for Murmansk at 18: 03 (local time), planning to operate the SU1492 flight. Immediately after take-off, the pilots requested an emergency landing. The fire alarm had sounded. As you can see in the pictures, the aircraft landed in flames, around 18: 30.

According to the TASS news agency, 11 people lost their lives as a result of this accident. There were 78 persons on board: 73 passengers and 5 crew members.

Many of those on board managed to escape, with the evacuation being made on the front slides. There are certainly some injured, as they are being treated at hospitals in the region.

An investigation was opened following this accident. According to officials, traffic controllers lost contact with the Sukhoi Superjet 100 Aeroflot at FL100. The plane arrived at the landing without communication between pilots and controllers. The landing was made on the 24 runway of Sheremetyevo airport.

For Aeroflot, this is the first fatal accident in the last 23 years. At the same time, it is the first plane lost in the last 5 years. The flames burned the aircraft, total damage was declared. According to authorities, the fire was extinguished after 45 minutes after landing.
