On March 6, 2018, the Emirates EK225 flight, on the Dubai - San Francisco route, was prepared and honored entirely by women.

The Airbus A380 Emirates aircraft was piloted by Captain Patricia Bischoff of Canada and first officer Rebecca Lougheed of the United Kingdom. The cabin crew consisted entirely of women, being coordinated by Weronica Formela from Poland.

In addition to the flight crew, a team of women took care of the aircraft on the ground: food, passenger boarding, cargo loading, catering loading, cleaning, security, ground dispatcher, etc.

A total of 75 women (25 nationalities) worked on the Emirates EK225 flight on the Dubai - San Francisco route.

Emirates noted that about 40% of the staff employed are female, most of whom are cabin crew. At the same time, 20% of management positions are occupied by women.
