SWISS has transported Switzerland's national football team to Russia
On 11 June 2018, Switzerland's national football team flew with SWISS to Russia at the 2018 World Football Championship.
As the official airline of the Swiss Football Association, SWISS transported Switzerland's national football team to the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Swiss fans also benefit from charter flights to Rostov and Moscow.
On June 11, Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) transported the National of Switzerland to Samara, in southwest Russia. The special flight was operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

During the 2018 World Cup, SWISS will operate several charter flights. On the Zurich - Moscow route, SWISS will increase transport capacity by introducing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Also during the World Football Championship, passengers on SWISS flights will be able to consume the culinary preparations that the players will also eat during the tournament. From mid-June to mid-July, chef Emil Bolli's culinary creations will be served to both business and Economy travelers on European flights.
Chef Emil Bolli has created four starters, eight main courses and eight desserts, all starting from the menu prepared for the Swiss football team.
