SWISS expands cargo services. Partially converts 3 Boeing 777-300ER cargo planes

SWISS and its SWISS WorldCargo division have operated more than 80 cargo flights since the end of March. They transported more than 1 tons of medical equipment and goods needed in the fight against the new COVID-300 between Asia and Switzerland.

SWISS plans to operate more than 100 cargo flights on behalf of various private and public entities by the end of May. Switzerland's national airline will also expand its cargo network with scheduled flights from Zurich to: Shanghai (three times a day), Beijing (twice a day), Chicago and Tokyo (twice a week) as well as Bangkok and Singapore (weekly).

To honor all cargo flights, SWISS is considering the partial cargo conversion of 3 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft by eliminating Economy Class seats. The changes will help to ensure a constant and regular transport of goods to Switzerland.
