We continue with the good news. Lufthansa Group resumes commercial flights starting in June. 160 planes will rise from the ground. The Swiss airline SWISS is also part of the Lufthansa Group.

SWISS intends to resume 15-20% of the operational program scheduled for June. That would mean about 140 weekly flights from Zurich to 30 destinations in Europe and about 40 weekly flights from Geneva to 14 destinations in Europe. Let's hope that Bucharest will also be on the list.

SWISS intends to resume commercial flights

The airline will continue to maintain three weekly flights to Newark, USA. Other intercontinental destinations will be added in June. In addition, SWISS and its SWISS WorldCargo division will continue to operate all-cargo flights to various destinations worldwide.

But by June, there may be changes in the operational program. The schedule for June will be published shortly. The expansion of the flight schedule takes place step by step, following the needs of customers and in accordance with the rules imposed by government authorities.

Let's not forget that there is a request to restrict non-essential travel until 15 June by the European Commission to all EU Member States and the Schengen area.
