SWISS received the first CS100 Bombardier

On June 29, Bombardier delivered the first CSeries family aircraft. The launch customer is SWISS (Swiss Global Air Lines) and has received the first Bombardier CS100 (HB-JBA).

From July 15, 2016, the first Bombardier CS100 aircraft is scheduled to enter operational service with SWISS. The first flight will be LX 638, on the Zurich - Paris trade route. SWISS will gradually replace the Avro RJ100 fleet with CSeries aircraft. The CS100 aircraft will fly to Manchester, Prague and Budapest. Along the way, the CS100 SWISS aircraft will also fly to Warsaw, Brussels, Nice, Stuttgart, Hanover, Milan, Florence and Bucharest.

In the spring of this year, Bombardier CS100 landed at Henri Coandă Otopeni International Airport, Bucharest. On 17 May 2015, around 19: 00, the aircraft Bombardier Cseries100 SWISS International Air (C-GWXZ) first landed in Zurich.

SWISS ordered 30 Bombardier CSeries aircraft: 15 x CS100 (carrying capacity 125 passengers); 15 x CS300 (transport capacity 145 passengers). The aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines, which have a diameter of 185 cm. The manufacturer boasts a low fuel consumption: 2 liters / 100 kilometers / passenger.
