Swoop started operations with 2 domestic flights since June 20
On 20 June 2018, the first flights operated by Swoop, the ultra-low-cost subsidiary of Westjet (Canada), departed from Hamilton, Ontario, to Abbotsford, British Columbia, and to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Swoop, the Canadian low-cost airline, has launched the first two departing routes from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM). These are flights to Abbotsford (YXX) and Halifax Stanfield (YHZ).
John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport is the perfect hub for low-cost carriers, especially in eastern Canada. The partnership between the airport and the company supports the economy of the region and offers regular flights to several destinations of interest. Swoop's goal is to reach international flights as well.
