Syphax Airlines received two Airbus A319

Syphax Airlines is a new airline established by businessman Mahmoud Frikha in Tunisia. It's based on the airport Sfax – Thyna International (IATA: SFA, ICAO: DTTX), also recognized as World War II Sfax Airfield.

Doric Asset Finance has leased two aircraft Airbus A319-112. They joined the Syphax Airlines fleet on 14 and 15 March 2012. Airbus A319-112 TS-IEF (msn 3853, ex D-AHIN) was handed over on March 14 and is also called "Karama". Airbus A319-112 TS-IEG (msn 3872, ex D-AHIO) was delivered on 15 March. The aircraft underwent thorough technical testing and verification prior to delivery.

Syphax Airlines plans to launch flights from Sfax-Thyna International airport to several destinations in France.
