TAP Air Portugal is one of the few airlines that I admire. We carefully watched the evolution of this airline. She had moments when she didn't know if she could be saved. Privatization has been attempted, and it is now proud of one of the youngest long-haul fleets in Europe and perhaps even in the world. Too bad because it doesn't fly from / to Bucharest anymore.

A year ago, the TAP long-courier fleet had an average age of over 15 years. Today, the average age has dropped to 3.9 years. What happened in one year? Simple! TAP Air Portugal has managed to upgrade its fleet with 30 of new aircraft, while eliminating old and morally / functionally worn aircraft.

The new long-courier fleet, which is developed around the A330-900neo, offers more passenger comfort, reduced fuel consumption and better operational and ecological efficiency.

The new TAP Air Portugal long-courier aircraft offer passengers a state-of-the-art entertainment system, Wi-Fi. The new A330-900neo come equipped with the most modern cabins.

In the last 3 years, the new A330neo aircraft arrived at TAP while the old generation was withdrawn. Others have been modernized. Following the removal of the Airbus A330-200 CS-TOG aircraft, on 29 November, all transatlantic flights are operated with modern, new and comfortable aircraft.
