TAROM and Iberia Maintenance have signed a new contract for 5 years. It will cover maintenance of aircraft components Airbus A318 TAROM. Includes repairs and maintenance of electrical systems, repair and maintenance of engines and mechanical systems, etc.
TAROM operates a mixed fleet of 23 aircraft, of which 4 are Airbus A318-111. This type of aircraft can carry up to 113 passengers, and the maximum nonstop flight distance is 2780Km.
Iberia Maintenance benefits from 18 specialized lines in accessories, instruments and other components for the A320, A340, A330, CRJ, MD80, Boeing 747 and Boeing 757 aircraft families. Iberia Maintenance also provides reviews to other airlines such as: Iberia Express, Vueling, Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, Onur Air, Garuda Indonesia, Meridiana, Atlas Jet, Swiftair etc. The hangars are at Barajas Airport, La Muñoza.
In 2011, Iberia Maintenance inspected engines of over 200 aircraft and over 66 000 components.
