On 22 July 2014, FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) banned all flights of American passenger aircraft to Israel, while the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued a warning to all European air carriers about the insecurity of flights to Israle. The indecision is for 24 hours because of the conflict between the Israeli army and the Hamas movement.

Less than a week after the tragic aviation event is NOT, aviation is undergoing a new period of crisis. Several airlines have suspended flights to Tel Aviv after the press announced the fall of a missile at 1.5 Km from Ben Gurion International Airport.

An airplane Boeing 747 Delta Air Lines (DL468 flight), on the route New York - Tel Aviv and with 290 people on board, was redirected to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. American Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways and Delta Air Line have canceled several flights to the Israeli capital.

The passengers of the TAROM race benefit from assistance according to the Regulation EC261 / 2004 regarding the rights of passengers ”, according to a press release TAROM.
