TAROM seeks hotel services in Constanța

Pe TAROM air carrier page there was an announcement of purchase of hotel services in Constanța. TAROM is looking for hotel deals for 4 stars for sailing staff.

Accommodation services must be provided starting with 1 October 2018, for the duration of 12 months. 220 rooms will be subcontracted for the entire duration. The hotel must be 4 stars and provided with a restaurant where the meal can be served according to the crew schedule.

Other mandatory conditions regarding the provision of services (requested by TAROM)
-The accommodation will be done by fulfilling the following conditions:
- Hotel rooms must meet safety and rest standards;
- The hotel has heating;
- The hotel should be located in a quiet area, without heavy road, air or rail traffic, in full security and guard, away from conflict areas;
- Each crew member to benefit from the separate room;
-The rooms will be equipped with bathroom with shower and own toilet, they will have air conditioning system, with the possibility of adjusting the temperature according to the season, adjusting the interior light, curtains and curtains for the isolation of natural light, telephone, television, glass windows compared to outside noise, as well as a wake-up call service.

The deadline for the submission of tenders was set for 17 August. Were any offers sent to TAROM?

Could we deduce that TAROM wants to increase its operational services in Constanța? Should it be an operational base, be it only for night flights?

Only now, TAROM flies twice a week on the route Constanța - Satu Mare. It will be suspended after September 2, 15. And the Constanța - Chisinau route was canceled before it started.
