TAROM flights from Oradea to Spain and Italy

Year 2018 can be said to be TAROM year. They were announced new routes departing from Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Constanța and Sibiu. Some have already been launched, others will be inaugurated later this year. The TAROM fleet has been enriched yet 2 Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft and a was placed order for 5 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

TAROM flights from Oradea to Barcelona and Rome / Milan
Today, at a press conference, Werner Wolff (CEO TAROM) announced that it plans to launch new routes departing from Oradea. From December 1, 2018, TAROM would fly on the routes Oradea - Barcelona (2 times a week) and Oradea - Rome / Milan (3 times a week).
No details have been provided yet (it should be uploaded to the system in the next few days), but it has been specified that the flights will be operated between 20-24 hours. Fares will be from € 99 (round trip) for flights to Italy and from € 150 (round trip) for flights to Spain.
The routes to England and Germany were also taken into account, but only after the arrival of the new aircraft. We mention that TAROM is looking for 13 Regional Jet aircraft. By announcing the new routes, TAROM wants to be a replacement for RYANAIR, which suspends flights from Oradea in winter time 2018-2019.
