The management plan of the company TAROM was approved in the meeting of the Board of Directors from 11 March 2013. The general objective of the management plan is to transform TAROM into a profitable and financially sustainable company in the long term, by improving the company's accounting result on average with 100 million RON every year and achieving profit from 2015 year.

TAROM's mission is to return the preferred airline of the Romanians and regain the position of unquestionable leader in Romania for air passenger transport, by offering the safest and most qualitative services, supporting the development of the company through a culture based on results and developing profitable operations for the benefit. to the clients, employees and shareholders of the company.

The management plan foresees an annual improvement of the result with approximately 100 million RON, starting from a preliminary and unannounced loss of 236 million RON in 2012 until a profit of 173 million RON in 2016 is obtained.

The plan is ok, promising and I hope it is completed. I would not want to remain at the stage of the vile illusion. I think it can be more than 75% loading degree in 2016 and I could bet on 3 millions of passengers transported if they still want to become the 1 operator in Romania. Wizz Air has carried nearly 3 million passengers in 2012 and I think they will exceed this number in 2013. TAROM has a long way to go for a dominant position on the Romanian market. I doubt that the declared ones will materialize.
